I wanted to provide a quick update that I'm still awaiting the paperback and hardback proofs. I expect to receive them within the next few days. Once I have the proofs in my hands, I will confirm the details with the supplier and be able to proceed with ordering all the books.
Last week, after determining the number of books I need to ship to Europe, I decided to handle the shipping of paperbacks and hardbacks myself to the UK and other European countries. This approach will expedite book delivery, and since I'll have the maps ready, I can package and ship everything at once. I've also found a local printer near me who can print all the maps simultaneously, which is a great advantage.
I'm optimistic that all the backers from the United States, Australia, and Canada will receive their books in December, although the timeline depends on a few other factors. I apologize for any delays that have occurred, but I'm confident that everything should progress smoothly now. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
I also wanted to let you know that me and five other authors are giving away a $50 Amazon Gift Card to one lucky winner.

Hello backers,
I think I finally have good news. My DM, with whom I have been working closely, has delivered the final version of 'Roll for Romance,' and the page count has increased from around 78 pages to 150 pages. He did really well with the rewrites and transformed it fully into a role-playing DND game. It's very interactive and detailed. I truly hope that this time I have nailed this for you guys.
I've uploaded the new version to BackerKit, so soon you should receive an email with the details, informing you that the new version is available. I still want to proofread this before it goes to print. Please read through the new version, possibly test it, and then let me know what you think. Any feedback, positive or negative, is appreciated.
I also wanted to let you know that I have found a supplier, and I have decided that the best way is to order all the books in bulk. They come highly recommended; several authors have been very happy with the print quality. I am going to order the books at the beginning of November. Everything, including all the books, maps, and any extras, will go directly to the fulfillment center in the USA, and then all the rewards will be shipped to you guys. The company I have chosen has worked with many authors and fulfilled lots of huge campaigns, so I am confident they will do a good job.
Once again, I want to apologize for all the delays, but I do believe that everything should go smoothly from now on.
As you can probably see, I collaborated with five other amazing authors and launched 'Cold Revenge,' a prequel with six new stories that will be launching in May next year. I have received a few copies of the hardback and paperback versions of "Roll for Romance." Unfortunately, I'm not happy with these proofs. Some parts of the cover were cut off, and the paper quality is poor. Therefore, I don't think I will use BookVault to fulfill the orders.
This week, I'm going to try another print-on-demand service and order some more proofs before I start sending out the physical rewards. I'm really sorry for all these delays, but I want to ensure that all the books look great and the quality is good.
Additionally, my DM has sent some more corrections for the new version, with a clear outline of how to play the game. I would like to incorporate these changes. The books will be set up on Amazon this week, and then hopefully, I can start the orders rolling in.
I have also received the initial framework for "Elvish Wedding" from the DM, and everything looks really good. I will start emailing this document to the players who commented on my last update shortly. If you still would like to test the second module with your partner, please comment below.
I'm holding off the launch of the second module for now until I have completely finalized the first module, and all the paperbacks, hardbacks, and other rewards have been sent out to backers.
As I mentioned before I have teamed up with five other incredible authors to launch 6 brand new (never before published) stories next year, sometime in May. This series will be called ‘Dancing With Your Nightmares‘.
Recently, we also decided to launch a prequel to all the books called ‘Cold Revenge’ and it will include 6 individual prequels to all the stories in Dancing with your Nightmares series. Here is our provisional cover — besides, we are set to create a truly special edition for this new series including designed stencil sprayed edges, foil stamp, faux leather cover and custom art. Yesterday, I received a Pathfinder file from my designer, and I'm in the process of uploading it to Backerkit. This updated version is now available for you to download.
Last week, I also uploaded the latest version of Family Feud to Backerkit. If you encounter any issues with the download, please inform me promptly.
In addition, I've made progress with setting up titles on BookVault for both paperback and hardback copies of the book. I've already placed orders for both editions, and they are expected to arrive by the 12th. Assuming the proofs meet our standards, I will initiate the shipment of the paperback copies to all of you.
I chose BookVault because they recently opened printing facilities in the USA, and the quality of their work is commendable. Unfortunately, the process with DriveThruRPG takes significantly longer, and I'm uncertain when we'll receive the proofs for those books.
My plan is to commence shipping the paperback copies first, with the goal of having all of them shipped by the end of October. Following that, I will proceed with shipping the hardback editions. Lastly, I'll handle the Collector's editions, as I'm currently finalizing the details for the dice sets with our supplier.
I have made the decision to delay the launch of our next campaign, "Roll for Romance Module 2: Elvish Wedding." This choice stems from my commitment to ensuring that the upcoming module is thoroughly tested before its release, and this is where you come in.
I'm excited to extend an opportunity to you to be part of the testing process for the next module before it goes to print. I've had a discussion with my Dungeon Master, and he is confident that the module can be written and edited within approximately two weeks.
You will receive the document via email, most likely in PDF or Word format, without any artwork or maps. Drawing from the experience gained from this campaign and the valuable feedback received, I am committed to delivering the best possible product for our next launch. My aim is to ensure that you and your partner thoroughly enjoy playing the game.
